Sometimes it is not about the words concentrating the affirmation, but it is about the distraction that comes with it. When you start consciously repeating the affirmations, you forget about your anger. After that, your initial reaction to your anger causes most of the destruction. 

5. Take A Walk 

Taking a walk is simply not doing anything. When your mind is free from the anger-causing situation, you can start rethinking the whole situation. Sometimes our anger disables us from thinking logically, and we end up doing things we regret later. 

Therefore, detaching yourself from the situation is an efficient plan to bring back the rational side of your mind to play. This will help you get a clear perspective and rethink whether you would really want people to organize your thoughts and comprehend and whether the anger is worth holding. 

6. Art Therapy 

Art therapy is the perfect way to handle your emotions by visualizing them. In this way, you are expressing your anger not with aggression but with subtle creativity. 

First, you simply escape the place, get to your calm corner, and start playing with colors. Vibrant colors have been scientifically proven to be natural mood lifters. Therefore, using them to paint something is a great distraction and cure for anger. 

7. Scream 

Not on anyone else, but to the open air. Sometimes our anger gets out of control, and we cannot decide to do any of the above. 

This is where your soul needs a quick release. You can go up to the terrace or in a private room to scream your heart out. Muffle your voice in a pillow if you are scared of making the sound.
