I am sure you will agree that the world is making great strides in becoming more accessible to those who have a disability. In many ways, accessibility seems to have become the norm. You would be hard pressed to find a street to work down or a building to enter, where accessibility has not been thought of at least in some way. But we can always ask, is there more we can do? People may feel happy that ramps have been added to a building, or disabled toilets on every level with additional equipment in them but is this all that is needed? Unfortunately, disabled people are still having to fight to be heard in some of these areas and it is an ongoing battle. But there is good news.
